About Me

When I am not in the kitchen I love to spend time with my family.  I have two children, both of whom have grown up and flown the nest. I am so proud of them both for the adults they have become and the lives they have chosen.  I also have a 'grandoggy' who is just adorable, even when she runs over my clean floor leaving little muddy paw prints everywhere.
My husband is very helpful when it comes to my passion for cakes, especially in the transportation and delivery. He brings me a regular supply of cups of tea whilst I am working and is a constant source of encouragement.
I love the beauty of flowers in my garden and being able to re-create these in sugarpaste gives me great joy and satisfaction. Sugarpaste flowers if stored carefully will keep for many years and make a wonderful keepsake of your wedding day. And I get a real boost when a bride and groom let me know that they loved their cake!
